Your children will be assessed and assigned to groups according to their ability. So, the ski instructor can start exactly where required. For all groups fun and safety comes first. The division is made according to a color system from yellow to black. Your child will learn quicker than you can imagine in the ski course. With improvement children can be moved to an upgraded course.

GREEN – SKIING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Anyone who has never or only briefly been on skis is in perfect hands here. In the group, children are taught skiing from the ground up. Playfully, the children get accustomed to skis. Soon they master short slopes, learn to stop and turn. No previous knowledge is required for this course.

On Sunday, the first day of the course, all children and a parent will meet at 10 am in the Kinderland at the middle station, Grünsee. The children must have a valid ski course ticket with them. The ticket is available from 9 am in the ski school office at the middle station or the day before from 9 am to 4 pm in the office at the valley station.

On the remaining course days, their ski instructors will pick up all children who stay at the Rudolfshütte at 9.45 am at the mountain station and travel with them to the middle station by cable car. Then they meet with the other children at 10 o’clock in Kinderland. At the end of the course day the children have to be picked up personally. Should someone else take over, we kindly ask you to let us know.

For the ski course, children do not need ski poles. In order to avoid confusion, we recommend that you note down the rental number if you rent skis. If your child has allergies or intolerances, please inform the ski instructor so that he can take care of it.

BLUE - LIGHTLY ADVANCED SKIER

Children and teenagers who are already able to ski on easy (blue) slopes and brake on their own are just right in this group. They playfully learn how to control their speed and add one curve to the other on the way down. Together with their ski instructor, they deal with flat and steeper slopes.

The first and last day are freely selectable from Sunday to Thursday. Meeting point is on the first day at 10 o’clock at the rope lift at the middle station - please take the valid ski school ticket with you. The first days of the course, starting on Sunday the group practice skiing at the rope and plate lift at the middle station. Here the skiers get used to the steeper slopes. As soon as they are able to ski down the slope in a controlled manner, the cable car will take you to the mountain station, where lessons will continue.

RED - ADVANCED SKIERS

This group is for children and young people who are already used to more difficult slopes, turning and stopping when required. They must be used to rope and plate lifts. Over the course of the week, they learn to ski parallel, make shorter turns and carve.

The start and end day are freely selectable from Sunday to Thursday. Meeting place for the children and young people is at 10 o’clock before the Rudolfshütte at the mountain station. On the first day of the ski course, please take the valid ski course ticket with you. Right at the beginning, the participants can show how well they already ski and are assigned to a group corresponding to their level of ability. If a child cannot manage the route, we ask you to bring the child to the blue group at the middle station by yourself.

In order to avoid confusion, we recommend that you note down the respective rental number on rental skis. If your child has allergies or intolerances, please inform the ski instructor so that he can take care of it.

BLACK - PROSPECTIVE PROFESSIONAL SKIERS

This group is for all skiers who ski parallel on all slopes and have experience on all lifts. The priority of this group is to improve their technique and to gain more experience in open terrain and powder snow.

The start and end day are freely selectable from Sunday to Thursday. Meeting point is always at 10 o'clock in front of Rudolfshütte. On the first day please take the valid ski school ticket with you. Right at the beginning, the participants can show how well they are already able to ski and are assigned to a group corresponding to their level of ability.

In order to avoid confusion, we recommend that you note down the respective rental number on rental skis. If your child has allergies or intolerances, please inform the ski instructor so that he can take care of it.
